  3. Lynn Groen, I will be praying for you. I hope you will be safe and will feel God’s leading. May God give you good health and endurance.

  4. We love you Opa and Oma! Have fun biking. We are praying for you.

  5. We love you Opa and Oma! Have fun biking and meeting new people. We’re praying for you!

    Love: Simone and Theo

  6. Proud to have a brother and sister like you!
Enjoy the biking and the weather, at least it isn`t -21 degrees..
    Have a safe trip.

  7. I love what you guys are doing. I finally got around to making a contribution through the CRWRC in Canada. This trip sounds difficult but very rewarding. I’ll pray for your safety and success.

  8. May God give you all strength and health to keep up the good work, may you be a witness to His love for the people there.

  9. Hey Mom and Dad! We’re reading the blog. I hope the roads are ok and that dad’s knee doesn’t act up. I’m not sure how I managed to type Simone’s name incorrectly twice (or why i ended up posting twice for that matter) oh well. You are in our prayers during the day and at night when we tuck in Simone we make a special mention of you right after singing “Slaap Simone slaap.” We love you very much!

  10. Just read about Dave’s accident. So sorry to hear about it. I will pray that the surgery will go well and for a quick recovery for you. My thoughts and prayers also go out to all you cyclists. May God protect you and keep you all safe and give you strength to endure the journey. I’m anxiously waiting for news of how your first few days have gone Peter and Jane Ann.

  11. A prayer for saftey for all riders and support staff. also a prayer for healing for Dave. May our God bless you all richly on this journey.

  12. Hello again Berghuis parents. I’ve just read that you are actually able to read some of the responses from time to time so I’ll send another note. Happy New Year. We celebrated by going to Yukanooga dad. Loved it again! You are on our minds a lot during the day and we’re continuing to pray for you. I have one complaint only about the site so far – where are the pictures of the riders?

    We love you!
    Andrew, Mirjam, Simone and Theo

  13. Hello to all the riders! I’m very happy to hear that Dad wasn’t wearing the shirt – did you get it back by the way? I can just picture you hanging it neatly in the tree because that would keep it clean – looks like this time logic wasn’t the answer. Cathy and Calvin, I can’t imagine how hard it must be to be away from your two little ones for such a long while. You are in our prayers.

Mom, Dad, we’ve been applying to so many schools – we’re just hoping for a nibble now. Oh yes, when I told Simone that you were on a special bike trip she asked if you were coming here. I hate to disappoint her. oh well.

We love you both the same!
    Andrew, Mirjam, Simone and Theo

  14. Opa and Oma – I was weighed on Monday and I was a whopping 14lbs, 12oz at the ripe old age of 9 weeks. I look great and I’m sleeping like a dream and my mom thinks I’m super cute.

  15. We all pray for your safety and your mission while biking, and while ministring to those around you. God bless this cause, and the country of Nicaragua! We pray for you especially Lynn, God bless you!

  16. Wim, Alie, Calvin & Cathy, I can’t imagine what it must be like for you all. I hope that things are going very well and that you are being tremendously blessed through this experience. Thinking of you and praying for you often.

    Blessings,
    Marlene
